Looking ahead to 2008

Hello everyone!

Hope that you've enjoyed 2007 as much as we enjoyed ours. Every new year is a new opportunity to refresh and renew as well as embark on new adventures. We're grateful for all our learning and successes of the past year and we're looking forward to 2008. Here's a bit of what's in store.

We'll be incorporating more online services at our website. Watch out for a revamped online experience that will bring more ease of use to our various tools and exercises as well as increase the value of our sessions.

We will continue our telephone sessions and tele-classes and, as our online tools come on-line, our clients will have a more transparent exit plan profiling experience than ever before.

What are you looking forward to in the New Year? We'd love to hear from you. As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions and we hope you have the most fulfilling 2008!

Sincerely yours,

Paul & Dori Gonzalez

Have you ever been at a point in your job or career where you're ready to leave -- but you don't know where to go? How do you "get out" and ensure that the changes you'll make will be long-lasting and positive? This workshop will teach you a new approach to long-lasting change, one that focuses on your strengths and values rather than on superficial goals or trends. In this workshop you will learn:

  • How some people are towards-oriented and others are away-oriented
  • Why "get-well-quick" changes don't stick
  • How flexible planning improves your chances of success vs. "stove-pipe" planning
  • The seven personal practices for long-lasting change
  • How to approach fear and personal risk

The mission of 40Plus of Greater Washington - is to facilitate and support career transitions for people with substantial business or professional experience through training and volunteer experience. Learn more at www.40plus-DC.org
